Product background

Mosquitoes lay eggs in standing water or puddles; the eggs become larvae, develop through 1st–4th instar stages in water, then emerge as adult mosquitoes. The Aedes oviposition trap EASY T1 uses this behavior to provide oviposition sites and attract egg-laying.

Product background

Attracted female Aedes lay eggs on the inner styrofoam and walls of the unit.

Product background

As eggs hatch and larvae develop through 1st–3rd instar, 4th instar larvae cannot leave the trap and die, enabling fundamental mosquito control.
